Spectra Exam Light Details

Surgical Light Technology in an Exam Light

Most exam lights accept a compromise on shadow control. Spectra does not. Seven LEDs feed a Vertically Segmented Reflector Design that reflects rather than directly projects light, so the beam arrives at the site without the harsh glare of conventional exam fixtures and with the overlapping coverage normally reserved for surgical lightheads.

  • Reflected-light design eliminates direct-lighting glare
  • Seven LEDs feeding a vertically segmented reflector
  • Shadow control comparable to an operating-room lighthead

Illumination and Color Accuracy

Clinical assessment depends on seeing tissue as it actually is. Spectra delivers a cool, color-correct beam with a CRI of 96 at 4300°K, holding true color across the full six-inch spot so skin tone, perfusion, and tissue margins read accurately.

  • 51,000 lux at one meter
  • 4300°K color temperature
  • CRI of 96 for accurate tissue color
  • Homogeneous 6" spot with even edge-to-edge output

Built for High-Traffic Departments

Spectra is specified for departments where the light is moved dozens of times a day: emergency, critical care, labor and delivery, clinics, and imaging. A low-profile head and drift-free positioning mean it stays where it is placed and stores out of the way between patients.

  • Drift-free stability after positioning
  • Low-profile head for easy movement and storage
  • Sealed, durable housing for repeated surface disinfection

Mounting and Configuration

  • Wall-mount configuration for fixed exam and procedure rooms
  • Mobile light-stand configuration for flexible deployment
  • Optional sterilizable handle for in-field adjustment
  • 40,000-hour LED life with no bulb replacement
